Executive Summary - The Future Role of the Ministry of Defence Police

The attached document is a summary of the study carried out by Trevor Woolley into the future of the MDP.

This is an edited version of the full study, the content of the summery has been viewed by the Chief Constable Mr Richard Thompson, and Sir Chris Fox Chairman of the Civil Nuclear Police Authority

Both Mr Thompson and Sir Chris Fox openly discussed at the CNPF 2009 annual conference parts of the content of the executive summary which made reference to the Civil Nuclear Constabulary. The CNPF are content at this stage that both the Chair of Police Authority and the Chief Constable have an awareness, and are willing to openly discuss the contents of this executive summary of a government sponsored report, with the Civil Nuclear Police Federation.
