Please be advised of the following:

The Civil Nuclear Police Federation Critical illness, Accident and Travel Insurance Scheme premium remains at 8.00 per month, collected by direct debit, including insurance premium tax.

Accident

No change to the improved benefits negotiated at the last review.

Travel

New benefits will be included from renewal.

• Piste closure benefit included

• Grandchildren (up to age 16) will be included when travelling with the member, unless the grandchild's parents are accompanying

• Return home expenses up to 1,000 included for insured trips within the UK where accident/illness causes the member additional travelling expenses

Critical Illness

• Benefit level increased to 5,000

• New benefit included for 'traumatic head injury'

• Illness definitions will follow the Association of British Insurer's (ABI) latest model wordings
