Please be advised of the following appointments within the CNPF

• Mr Peter Storey has been elected to the office of Chairman of the Civil Nuclear Police Federation. with an effective date of 9th May 2008. Peter comes to the position with many years of experience at all levels within our organisation, and will make a major contribution to the way we conduct our future business.

• Mr Robert Bean our outgoing chairman who has served the Police Federation with distinction over many years has made the personal decision to stand down from the CNPF Executive Committee with immediate effect. The contribution made by Bob has been significant and valued over his long service with our constabulary.

• Mr Terry Wroe has been elected to the office of Vice Chairman of the Civil Nuclear Police Federation. Terry brings to this appointment, many qualities that will support the federation in its work.

• In accordance with CNPF rules the executive committee of the CNPF have appointed Mr Harry Shone, for the remaining period of Mr Bean's term on the executive. I have no doubt that Harry will make a significant contribution to the future success of our Police Federation.
